Thanks for the nudge, Brenda. Alive, well, a few changes in my life (yes, I’ll cover them shortly), and a new version of a creative venture has taken on a new life….
Fountain City Fibers is now up and running, on rather new legs.
Lots more to come, but for now–I am dyeing yarn again! And marketing it via the Fountain City blog in that link above (with a “real” website to follow), along with a Twitter group (fountaincityfib) and a Facebook group (Fountain City Fibers).
I chose the name because Kansas City is known as a city of fountains–we have more fountains here than any other city in the world except Rome (Italy). I wanted it to be distinctly Kansas City and each type of yarn will be named for a landmark or area or similar spot in the city.
More details shortly, but…..I wanted Brenda to know…..I’m not quite dead yet!
